The Sixth Sense (Rated PG-13)      Hollywood superstar Bruce Willis (Armageddon, 12 Monkeys) brings a powerful presence to an edge-of-your-seat thriller from writer-director M. Night Shyamalan (Oscar nominee for Best Original Screenplay and Best Director) that critics are calling one of the greatest ghost stories ever filmed.  When Dr. Malcolm Crowe (Willis), a distinguished child psychologist, meets Cole Sear (Oscar nominee Haley Joel Osment, Best Supporting Actor)...a frightened, confused eight-year-old, Dr. Crowe is completely unprepared to face the truth of what haunts Cole.  With a riveting intensity you'll find thoroughly chilling, the discovery of Cole's incredible sixth sense leads them to mysterious places with unforgettable consequences! Hollow Man (Rated R:  Strong violence, language and some sexuality/nudity)      What would you do if you were invisible?  How far would you go?      After years of experimentation, Dr. Sebastian Caine, a brilliant but arrogant and egotistical scientist working for the Defense Department, has successfully transformed mammals to an invisible state and brought them back to their original physical form.  Determined to achieve the ultimate breakthrough, Caine instructs his team to move on to Phase III:  human experimentation.  Using himself as the first subject, the invisible Caine finds himself free to do the unthinkable.  But Caine's experiment takes an unexpected turn when his team can't bring him back.  As the days pass, he grows more and more out of control, doomed to a future without flesh as the HOLLOW MAN.      Kevin Bacon, Elisabeth Shue and Josh Brolin star in this intense thriller filled with extreme suspense, terrifying twists and incredible special effects. The Mothman Prophecies (Rated PG-13:  Terror, some sexuality and language)      From the director of Arlington Road comes a spine-tingling, supernatural thriller based on actual events that will rattle your nerves and shake your beliefs.      Distraught by the sudden, tragic death of his wife (Debra Messing), John Klein (Richard Gere), a journalist for The Washington Post, finds himself mysteriously drawn to a small West Virginia town when his car inexplicably strands him.  Rescued by the sympathetic but skeptical local police sergeant (Laura Linney), he soon learns that many of the town's residents have been beset by bizarre events, including sightings of an eerie "moth-like" entity, similar to the one seen by his late wife.  Investigating further and having his own terrifying encounters with the creature, he becomes obsessed with the idea that this supernatural being can predict impending calamities and is trying to warn the town of one.  Is this a psychic delusion brought on by his grief or can he convince the police sergeant that there's a tragedy that must be averted?  His life, and potentially others' lives, depend on his making the right choice before time runs out. Signs (Rated PG-13:  For some frightening moments)      From M. Night Shyamalan, the writer/director of The Sixth Sense and Unbreakable, comes the story of the Hess family in Bucks County, Pennsylvania.  One morning they wake up to find a 500-foot crop circle in their backyard.      Graham Hess (Mel Gibson) and his family are told extraterrestrials are responsible for the sign in their field.  They watch the news as crop circles are soon found all over the world.      Signs is the emotional story of one family on one farm as they encounter the possibility the world is being invaded.      "It's easy for a filmmaker to blow up the world--but what Shyamalan does is much riskier.  He tries to blow our minds.  I was engaged by every inch of Signs."--Richard Roeper, Ebert & Roeper Gothika (Rated R:  Violence, brief language and nudity)      At Woodward Penitentiary for Women, an unexpected and highly disturbed inmate is now held in the psych ward once overseen by criminal psychologist Miranda Grey.  The inmate:  Dr. Grey herself.      Halle Berry portrays Grey, accused of a savage murder and clinging to her sanity as she copes with a series of ghostly encounters in Gothika, from Dark Castle Entertainment.  A fellow doctor (Robert Downey, Jr.), a volatile inmate (Penelope Cruz) and others figure in her harrowing ordeal.  Mathieu Kasovitz directs this jolting ghost story in which strange voices cry out, messages scrawled in blood appear, specters arise--and the only thing more gripping than Grey's stark awakening into madness in her feverish attempt to escape it. Deep Blue Sea (Rated R)      Researchers on the undersea laboratory Aquatica have genetically altered the brains of the captive sharks to develop a potential cure for Alzheimer's Disease.  There is one noteworthy unexpected side effect.  The sharks got smarter.  Which could mean trouble for the researchers.  And lunch for the sharks.      You can swim but you can't hide when a tropicl storm floods Aquatica, plunging Samuel L. Jackson, Saffron Burrows, Thomas Jane, LL Cool J and more in a deft ensemble cast into a harrowing battle of wits against sleek killing--and thinking--machines who top out at 8,000 angry pounds.      Renny Harlin (Cliffhanger, Die Hard 2) masterfully directs, squeezing nerve-jangling suspense and thrills from a film that's a monster movie, a chase movie, a movie that snaps hold and won't let go.  Dive in. The Others (Rated PG-13:  For thematic elements and frightening moments)      Screen sensation Nicole Kidman (Moulin Rouge, Eyes Wide Shut) delivers an utterly unforgettable performance in this scary and stylish suspense thriller!  While awaiting her husband's return from war, Grace (Kidman) and her two young children live an unusually isolated existence behind the locked doors and drawn curtains of a secluded island mansion.  Then, after three mysterious servants arrive and it becomes chillingly clear that there is far more to this house than can be seen, Grace finds herself in a terrifying fight to save her children and keep her sanity!  Acclaimed by critics everywhere, the unpredictable twists and turns of this compelling hit will keep you guessing as it keeps you riveted to the edge of your seat! Unbreakable (Rated PG-13:  For mature themes, some disturbing violent content and a sexual reference)      Bruce Willis and Samuel L. Jackson star in a mind-shattering, suspense-filled thriller that stays with you long after the end of this riveting supernatural film.  After David Dunn (Willis) emerges from a horrific train crash as the sole survivor -- without a single scratch on him -- he meets a mysterious stranger (Jackson).  An unsettling stranger who believes comic book heroes walk the earth.  A haunting stranger whose obsession with David will change David's life forever. Dreamcatcher (Rated R:  Violence, gore and language)      **I am unable to read the full movie description due to a sticker being on the back of the jacket.  Basically, it's your typical Stephen King horror/thriller flick.  A bunch of guys developed strange powers during a fateful day in childhood, and now they must rely on those powers to ward off an alien presence and ultimately save the world. Freddy VS. Jason (Rated R:  For pervasive strong horror violence/gore, gruesome images, sexuality, drug use and language)      Freddy Krueger is in hell--literally!  And like an inmate with a life sentence, Freddy's plotting a fantastic revenge...all he needs is a little help.  In comes Jason Voorhees, the equally iconic madman and perfect means for Freddy to once again instill fear on Elm Street.  As the bodies begin to pile up, it becomes clear that Jason isn't willing to step aside.      Now, with a terrified town in the middle, the two titans of terror enter into a horrifying and gruesome showdown.  Winner kills all!
