Description
Time for my annual video cleanup... You are bidding on a gently used and very rare stereo 12" laserdisc of The Making of Star Wars: As Told By C-3PO and R2-D2 / SPFX: The Empire Strikes Back (1982) [1112-80], 2 vintage CBS television documentaries from 1977 and 1980 respectively on the making of Star Wars and The Empire Strikes Back. Each features priceless behind-the-scenes footage from the making of the two films. These documentaries are are out-of-print on all formats and remain (criminally) unavailable on DVD. This great nostalgic collectible is the perfect way to complete your Star Wars video collection! The disc itself is in near-mint condition with only very minor surface scuffs. The jacket is in excellent condition with very minor edge and corner wear but no major shelf wear or creasing. For your convenience I've provided the following informational links:Click here for the LDDb listing for this title. Click here for the IMDb listing for The Making of Star Wars: As Told By C-3PO and R2-D2 (50 minutes). Click here for the IMDb listing for SPFX: The Empire Strikes Back (50 minutes). For the winner of this auction only I will provide a DVD copy of the LD at no extra cost upon request. I'll be listing a few dozen discs out of my collection over the next few weeks as time permits. I've really made an effort to list some truly unique and rare discs I've acquired over the years (no umpteenth copy of "Top Gun" or "This Is Garth Brooks" here). It should be a pretty eclectic mix, from movies (not on DVD) to music videos to demo discs, some factory-sealed, some not, but all collectible! Stay tuned! For used discs I've replaced all "half-moon" disc sleeves with high-quality poly-lined paper sleeves so they will be ready for your collection! Some notes about my auctions: - Sorry about my photography skills (or lack thereof). The gallery shot should give you a pretty good idea of what you're bidding on but if you have any questions please contact me. - My discs are carefully stored in a child, pet, and smoke-free household. None are former rentals unless noted. Some age-related wear (mainly to the jackets) can be expected, but none due to abuse or accident (e.g. water damage) unless noted. - I am a laserdisc collector; I do eBay for fun and to occasionally make a little cash, but not as a business. However your satisfaction is very important to me; I do not sell junk. If you have any questions or concerns at any point in the process please contact me. - I only accept PayPal; please do not bid if you cannot pay with PayPal. Payment is due within 5 days of each auction end or I may offer the item to the next highest bidder. This applies even if you are bidding on multiple items unless otherwise approved. Please ensure that you have a shipping address confirmed with PayPal as I will only ship to a confirmed address. - To bidders with less than 90% positive feedback or a feedback score of less than 10: I want to do business with you, but please contact me via the eBay "Ask seller a question" function so I can review and approve the bid in advance, otherwise I may cancel it without notice. Sorry; I've had problems with false / malicious bidders in the past trying to screw things up. - Please check out my other laserdisc auctions; I will combine shipping costs, but only on items won on the same day. I plan to list weekly auctions to end on the same day (Sunday) to make this policy as manageable as possible. - Quoted shipping rates are for the lower 48 United States. If you're outside those areas, please contact me in advance for a shipping quote. - Items will ship no later than 7 business days from receipt of payment, but please be advised that due to my business travel schedule it might be closer to the 7 day mark. I'm all about the instant gratification myself, but if you're one of those bidders that starts e-mailing every day asking "What's up with my disc?" one day after sending payment, please don't bid on my items. My feedback score speaks for itself; I don't rip people off. I appreciate everyone's patience. Thanks for your interest; good luck and happy bidding!
